Active Sports is an outdoor activity company
that has been running its business in the heart
of the Scottish Borders for some 10 years. We
have a wealth of experience and qualifications
within the company, spanning over 25 different
activities. Our staff are selected for their
high level of personal motivation, experience
and qualifications and come from a wide variety
of backgrounds, primarily industry and
education. For those who have not been on an
Active Sports course before, you couldn't have
chosen a better year to start. We have a
fantastic range of 25 different activities based
on Land and Water - we can tailor a programme to
suit your establishment's requirements. Our
activities are more than just time away from
study: they can be used as a vehicle for the
personal and social development of your
students. We try to base much of our residential
experience for educational groups at Whitmuir
Hall, the centre for many of our activities.
There are 30 acres of grounds which allow groups
to wander and explore in relative safety, giving
group leaders peace of mind.

Scoutscroft dive centre is set less than a mile
from the St Abbs and Eyemouth voluntary reserve.
The centre is comprised of a fully equipped
retail outlet stocking most major brands of
equipment, a P.A.D.I. dive school offering
experience programmes for all ages, and diving
courses from the novice to professional levels.
Air to 240 bar is also available. We have a full
range of hire equipment, and our on-site
servicing and repairs centre can ensure that you
are not kept out of the water too long. For new
visitors to the area we provide guided dive
services as well as snorkelling sessions. We can
also arrange boat trips around the reserve and
bird sanctuary. Our friendly and knowledgeable
staff will do their best to ensure that your
first visit will not be your last. This
combination of equipment hire, suit repairs and
compressed air, makes the dive shop and lodge
the ideal base for your diving holiday.
AquaStars offer a fully stocked diving and
watersports shop, Compressed air to 300bar,
Nitrox fills from our “state of the art”
membrane system, PADI Training Courses, RIB
charter (by day or by person \ dive), Hard boat
dives, Guided dives etc.
