from an experienced rider simply hiring a horse for the
odd hour to residential riding courses for absolute
beginners.
This section is intended to include Riding
Schools and Riding Centres, Residential Riding Holidays,
Riding stables, Pony Trekking, etc.

Go where cars cannot
over lovely green fields and heather moorland
with Brendon Manor Farm, est. 1951. Ride for as
long as you like, with Horses and ponies for
hire, large groups welcome (school groups a
speciality).
Riding hats provided.
Beginners escorted and experienced rides catered
for. Devon County Council Licensed.
The stables at Burrowhayes are open to residents
and non-residents, with horses and ponies to
suit all, novice or experienced. Escorted
rides are taken in the Horner Valley and on the
open moorland of Dunkery, Ley Hill and
Selworthy. Small children's ponies are available
for parents to walk and lead.
An approved yard, within the Exmoor National
Park, stocks well mannered horses and ponies.
Dean Riding Stables offer escorted hacking and
instruction for all ages and levels,
nervous and novice are especially welcome.
18 new quality Internal Monarch Stables, with a
tack room, wash room, feed room, washing/shoeing
area, toilets, waiting room and a sandschool.
