Discover what lies
beneath the streets of Exeter on a guided tour
of Exeter’s Underground Passages.
This unique visitor
attraction re-opened in 2007 with a brand new
exhibition and interpretation centre, packed
full of interactive displays, fascinating
archaeological finds and a full-scale passages
model. Exeter is the only city in
the UK to have underground passages of this type
and guided tours have taken place here since the
1930’s. Today mod cons include hard hats,
lighting and a DVD presentation, but the
passages still hold a fascination to all that

artefacts. Watch ‘Exeter 2,000 years of History’
a lively audio-visual presentation covering
2,000 years of Exeter’s History in just 15

provides an excellent introduction to Exeter’s
Historic Quayside. The Quayside is a must for
all visitors offering level walking and cycling

We offer a selection of escorted walks with
llamas on East Devon's spectacular Jurassic
Coast including a morning walk with tea/coffee
and muffins, and an afternoon Devon cream tea
walk. Llamas are gentle, inquisitive animals and
make ideal walking companions. They carry packs
containing all the food & drink, and we stop
half way for refreshments and to take in the
magnificent scenery. We are very fortunate in
being based on a 330 acre working farm just
outside Sidmouth, and all our walks - including
a section of the South West Coast Path - can be
done without leaving the farm's own land. All
our walks have breath-taking views of the
Jurassic Coastline and surrounding countryside.

Situated on the hillside above the picturesque
fishing village of Beer, East Devon (on the
south-west coast of England), PECORAMA has
something to offer every member of the family.
The attraction, having a railway theme, includes
a fascinating Indoor Exhibition of modelling in
various popular scales, whilst the Gardens are
home to the famous Beer Heights Light Railway.
This 7¼-inch narrow gauge passenger-carrying
line, powered by miniature steam and diesel
locomotives, winds its mile-long way through
tunnels, loops and cuttings giving wonderful
views of Beer and Lyme Bay en-route. Visitors
will find the grounds also offer imaginative
children's' play areas, crazy golf and full
catering facilities.

Once used largely for
the carriage of limestone, the canal is now a
tranquil recreational waterway for cycling,
walking, boating and fishing (permits are
required for the latter 2 activities).
Meander through 11 miles of pleasant mid-Devon
landscape from Tiverton to Lowdswells, just
south of the Somerset border. The scenery is
constantly changing and there is a wealth of
wildlife, including breeding swans. Excellent
for birdwatchers and botanists as well as all
lovers of canals and countryside.
