The south coast of Cornwall has a wealth of
sheltered waters which is very well suited to
canoeing. Falmouth Canoe Club offers advice to
people wanting to take up the sport. New intake
of beginners is limited each year so people need
to register their interest early.

are BSA qualified, RLSS beach life guards
members of NCF and the school is approved by the
BSA. We teach beginners and also people wanting
to improve their surfing techniques.

We are the only inland water ski and wakeboard
site in Cornwall and Devon, and can offer
wakeboarding, water skiing to all levels from
total beginner to professional. We have an
inboard tournament boat and two professional
slalom courses, the nearest slalom course to
ours is in Gloucester. We operate evenings and
weekends from April 1 to October and are fully
affiliated to British Water Ski.
We also run a sponsored free event for people
with disabilities to have a free taster session
on our lake every year, the next one will be in
June 2008, but it does need to be pre-booked so
we can cater for everyone. A team of experts
come from the Disabled Water Ski training site
with all their expertise and specialist
equipment. This event is open to anyone with any
kind of disability at all, but not able bodied
on these two days.
