One of the most beautiful pubs in Wiltshire, the
Kings Arms is a 17th Century Inn converted from
an 11th Century Monks Retreat. Visitors can
enjoy the wonderful dining area with it's
tapestries and set pewter plates, or sit next to
the log fire in the village bar and chat about
the hostelry's ghostly history over a drink or
two. The pub also has lovely gardens for
customers to sit and look over the countryside
or watch the enchanting birds in the Aviaries.
Spook the African Eagle Owl is a favourite.

Cafe, restaurant and gardens on the Kennet and
Avon Canal. Have fun with Dick and Jane at The
Lock Inn Cafe, offering an extensive all day
menu including the famous "Boatman's Breakfast".
Different evening menu offers full table service
inside and on our boat moored along side - "Fat
Dickies Tuck Tug". This family owned eatery is
not a pub but does have a licensed bar with a
good selection of draught beers, wines and
spirits but prides itself on making a proper pot
of tea.
