waist high in waders in a swift-flowing river, or
fighting to land a large fish out at sea, in Wiltshire

Coarse fishing on 5 lakes, total of 7.5 acres
with 106 fishing pegs. Disabled access. Night
fishing by appointment. Purpose built Match Lake
for clubs and private hire. Bait available. Pike
fishing from 1st October through to 31st March
on Abbotts & Bishops lakes. Toilets in yard.
Soft drinks for sale.
Lake surrounded by approximately 300 acres of
woodland, with fishing and sailing. BMX
cross-country and woodland with woodland walks.
Truffle hunting by arrangement. Restaurant with
an organic foods and vegetarian area as well as
meats and poultry. Accords with the Real Meat
Company's strict ham standards. Jazz music
venue.
Leechpool Farm

A silt bottomed lake of about 1˝ acre. Nice
surroundings. Lots of features on lake such as
over hanging trees, a sheltered corner, reeds
etc. Day ticket available for this water. Open
all year. Night fishing.
Orchard Farm
Orchard Farm, Broughton Gifford, nr Melksham,
Wilts
A small, half an acre lake/pond - quite weedy in
parts, clay bottom. Carp to 18 lbs, silver bream
to 2lbs, Barbel to 5lbs, roach to 3 lbs, Gudgeon
to 4 ounces and chub to 6 lbs. No night fishing.
Barbless hooks only and no keep nets. Day ticket
available for this water. Open all year.

Lots of trees around lake with most swims on
water level. Very shallow lake averaging about
18 inches deep. There is plenty of cover tight
to the bank in most pegs. There are two islands
one at each end of the lake. Carp lake, mostly
"wildies". Some mirror averaging 2lb - 4lb.
There are plenty of roach to catch averaging 3oz
and the very odd tench averaging 8oz. Day ticket
available for this water. Open all year. This
water is suitable for disabled anglers.
News on both course and trout fishing in the
Salisbury area. Members range from all
walks of life and all over the world. Contact

Fed by the pristine waters of the Avon,
Manningford is one of Wiltshire’s best known
fisheries. It is set in the heart of the Pewsey
Vale and consists of a 4.5 acre lake along with
a smaller lake for Brown & Rainbow trout
fishing. Day and half day tickets available.
Equipment hire. Toilet facilities. Open all
