Horseriding holiday activities can vary
from an experienced rider simply hiring a horse for the
odd hour to residential riding courses for absolute
beginners. This section is intended to include
Riding Schools and Riding Centres, Residential Riding
Holidays, Riding stables, Pony Trekking, etc.

Riding straight into the
New Forest. 2 hour hacks for experience riders
and 1 hour rides for riders of mixed ability.
Day rides by arrangement. All on well cared for
horses. Open all year. Extremely safe road free
hacking on very safe cobs. We cater for all
standards and ages from 5 years old upwards.
Group bookings are catered for, as well as
Birthday Party rides - the ideal original gift.
Forest Park Riding & Livery
is a Pony Club yard, so there's always lots for
the children to do during the holidays or on
weekends. Lessons are provided for all standards
for those that just want to learn to ride and
hack out in safety. For the more advanced rider,
it's also possible to take BHSI training or ABRS
exams/training. If you're holidaying in the
area, come and have a fun day riding. If you're
looking for somewhere to stay, there are several
very nice B & B's in the area. We provide Full,
DIY and Grass Livery services - others can also
be arranged. Breaking and Schooling services are
available at Forest Park. We sell items of tack
equipment.
Private or shared lessons are wonderful at
Bagnum, we have a large schooling paddock where
beginners can safely start their riding with
professionals who have had many years’
experience. Those who have had riding experience
already may enjoy improving their knowledge and
might like to begin or improve jumping, dressage
or practise their particular style of riding.
Those who have never been on horse-back before
may safely enjoy this on reliable and loving
ponies well-used to beginners. Hacking is a
great favourite at Bagnum and we go out for 1
hour, 2 hours and Day Rides. During the Summer
months we enjoy late night rides in the
magnificent cool Forest evening air. Regular
Dressage is another great favourite along with
Clear Round Show Jumping Competitions, Gymkhana
Games and Fun Days.
