This quaint village boasts
the oldest cricket club in Hampshire and has a
duck pond and village green.
Elvetham Hall, now a hotel, dates from the
11th century. At one time it was owned by the
father of Henry VIII’s wife Jane Seymour.
West Green House dates to the 18th century and
has 35 acres of gardens lovingly restored by
the National Trust.
One of its attractions is a record-breaking
magnolia. |
