is a friendly gliding society operating in East
Wiltshire based at Rivar Hill airfield, which is
situated on the Wiltshire/Hampshire/West Berkshire
border approximately 4 miles south of Hungerford.
Shalbourne Soaring Society
is situated in an area of outstanding natural
beauty and offers opportunities to learn to fly of
trial lessons on an individual or group basis.
