Why not take an
environmentally friendly cycling holiday, leave
the car behind, using public transport to arrive
at one of the many ferry ports serving the
Island, or just park at one of the ports and
jump on board. On arrival to the Island we will
meet you with your bikes, helmets, maps and
guides - including a route to your
accommodation.
Now we don't expect you to
be travelling light, indeed you may be camping.
What we will do once you are safely pedalling on
your way is deliver your luggage to your
accommodation. It will be waiting for you when
you arrive there. At the end of your break we
will collect your luggage and meet you at the
ferry port to return the bikes and be ready for

Wight Cycle Hire caters for families, couples and
groups (up to 30 riders). Our philosophy is simple
in that we want to offer the best possible levels
of service to ensure that all our customers enjoy
to the maximum the pleasures a cycling break can
afford them.
Our basic service includes: - *Provision of a
clean and properly maintained bicycle of the right
size and type. (Gents, Ladies, Children's,
Trailers, Tag a longs and child seats). Each bike
is properly adjusted, and to ensure safety a run
through of the bikes features is provided to each
hirer. * Helmets, High visibility back pack,
routes, maps and lock as required. *Collection
from our hire centre at The Old Works, Station
Road, Yarmouth, Isle of Wight, PO41 0QU. *We offer
delivery and collection Island wide for all
bicycles given 24 hours notice and delivery to
Yarmouth Ferry Port with 1 hours notice. *We
provide full mobile support so that if any of our
customers has a problem we will attend to them
wherever they are regardless of the problem. (As
we say ''you're on a cycling holiday - not a bike
maintenance course'').
In addition customers may also book a guide (for
guided rides) for the minimum of a day, and we
also organise bike and ''something'' day trips
from April to October, where the ''something''
might be a boat trip, fossil hunt or barbecue for

We are a new company providing hire bicycles in
Cowes and Brading and delivery to other
locations by request; both outlets are easy to
access on foot from the mainland ports and
within the island. Both outlets also have

The concept of the store is outside normal
retail trading by operating from a rural site
from within a 6000 sq feet 18th century barn
that not only accommodates a massive selection of
cycles and accessories, but also a Shimano
approved service centre. Once inside you will
find cycles from Gary Fisher, Trek, Lemond (www.fisherbikes.co.uk) Giant, Ruption and a
fantastic range of electric bikes, childrens
bikes and also trailers and tag along type
cycles for the new starter.
You can hire cycles from The Store too including
child seats and trailers and enjoy the
surrounding countryside with Route 23 just a
stones throw away. Parking is no problem so you
can leave your vehicle in the free car park and
go for a ride. Route 23 is part of the old
railway network and is very well signposted and
pleasure to use for all the family.

Our hire centre is based in the heart of West
Wight right offering easy access to all the best
off-road trails on the Island. The fabulous
Brighstone Forest and the Downs of Compton, Brook
and Limerstone. If you want to experience the
thrill of the off-road trail why not try our
"Mountain Bike Mini Experience'', these can be
guided or find your own way with our provided maps
and guides. Routes can be as short as an hour or
as long as you want.
