Bright and breezy, this
coastal town in East Sussex lay at the mouth
of the River Ouse until the 16th century when
violent storms changed the course of the
waterway.
Nearby are the chalk cliffs of the
Seven Sisters and on Seaford Head are the
remains of a pre-Roman encampment. |
