The Old House Restaurant
Effingham Road, Copthorne, RH10 3JB
Tel: 01342 716493 Fax:
01342 716493
Located in a very traditional looking building,
convenient for Gatwick Airport, the attention to
food here is commendable. A three-course meal
might consist of oak smoked salmon served with a
new potato and spring onion salad with lemon
mayonnaise followed by pan-roasted chump of
lamb. To follow it would have to be spotted dick
with clotted cream and toffee sauce. The wine
list is well travelled and it’s good to see
English wines there with the rest.
