Dating back to the Bronze Age,
this riverside suburb derives its name from the
Saxon Lord Sunna who settled here in the 10th
century. The Walled Garden, near Sunbury’s village
green, includes a flowerbed dedicated to the
Princess of Wales. Nearby is Kempton Park
Racecourse.
