Our undulating golf course (established in 1980)
nestles in a mature and scenic woodland setting,
near the attractive hamlet of Millbrook, in one
of the most beautiful parts of Bedfordshire. The
7000+ yard layout presents challenges for all
golfers, with every hole providing a different
test of length, line, touch and feel.
A fine undulating course in expansive heathland
interspersed with many attractive clumps of
gorse, broom and bracken. The course features
well established silver birch trees. 7, 8 and 9
will provide a real challenge and difficult way
to finish your outward nine.

American styled course with many bunkers to
overcome, water comes into play on some holes
and large undulating greens to test your putting
skills. Well maintained course which plays well
all year round.
A mature parkland course with a brook meandering
through many holes on this course, which will
test you club management ! Some testing par 4
and par 5's, the well kept greens are protected
by positioned bunkers to test any standard of
golfer.
An easy walking course with well bunkered
greens. The course is difficult in windy
conditions and plays longer than the yardage
suggests. Water comes into play on 3 holes
testing your short game.
Undulating course constructed in 1994 offering a
good test of golf for players of all abilities.
The signature holes are the short 150 yard 10th,
which requires an accurate shot across water to
a splendid sloping green and the Par 4 11th that
features a drive off an elevated tee over a
ditch, several bunkers and a pond while being
perilously close to out of bounds.
A fine downland course set on two levels with
far reaching views and frequent sightings of
graceful gliders. The 9th hole is one of the
best short holes in the country. Excellent
clubhouse facilities.
Undulating meadowland course with mature trees
and hedges, water comes into play on several
holes, special attention to your club selection
on approach shots, the greens are very well kept
all year round.
Championship length course with some testing
holes and tight fairways. Tricky par 3's with
well placed bunkers and pacy greens make this
course a good challenge to players of all
standards. Also a 9 hole course available offers
a good test for high handicappers.
Well laid out municipal parkland course with
mature trees and many challenging holes to test
your short iron play, some tight fairways and
protected greens are a test for all standards.
In beautiful Mid- Bedfordshire countryside,
about two-thirds of the way along the B1040 from
Biggleswade to Potton, and laid out on both
sides of the road, you will find
John O' Gaunt Golf Club. John O' Gaunt has to be
one of the premier private Golf Clubs in
southern England. With its 36 Hole complex now
matured into two golf courses of quite differing
degrees of difficulty, John O' Gaunt is the envy
of most visitors. The clubhouse, the stately
home of the Burgoyne family for so many years,
obviously has a tremendous historical ambience
which the golf club has managed to maintain to a
remarkable degree. In doing so, however, it
still provides excellent modern facilities for
its members and visitors. In 1993 the English
Golf Union successfully held the English Seniors
Championship over the John O' Gaunt course. The
Championship is due to return in 2004.
