Fishing is the most popular sport in Britain
today. At Drummond Trout Farm and Fishery we
supply fish for re-stocking many angling waters
and you can if you wish have a try at fishing
for trout here. We have six ponds that are
specifically for fishing. Tuition, trout fishing
and Farm Shop also available.
The loch is well stocked with specimen trout,
rainbow, brook, brown trout and char and the
fishing is by way of boat and bank. The Fishery
is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year (weather
permitting in winter). The daily opening times
are from 8am until dusk and the tickets are
available from the office on the site.
Sandyknowes is situated just on the outskirts of
Bridge of Earn. It is an eight acre loch set in
well maintained and beautiful grounds. Bank
fishing only for rainbows although there are few
brownies in there as well. There is a cafe on
site for light refreshments and toilet
facilities.
