Auchenbowie is beautifully situated near the
historic city of Stirling, one mile from the
junction of the M9 and M80 motorways, in the
heart of Scotland. It is easy to find, central,
quiet and peaceful in a charming rural setting,
and yet convenient for town, shops, cinemas and
general entertainment. It is an ideal touring
base, within easy reach of Glasgow, Edinburgh,
the Trossachs and Central Highlands; and is a
convenient 'stopover' point for visitors
travelling North and South.
Local
places of interest include City of Stirling,
Stirling Castle, Wallace Monument, Field of
Bannockburn, Blairdrummond Safari Park, Tolbooth
Arts Centre and the Scottish Antique & Arts
Centre near Doune. Nearby we also have the
Falkirk Wheel. Touring and tent pitches on this
well kept site 4 miles from the historic town of
Stirling. Located off the M80-M9 at exit 9.
Follow A872 for half a mile towards Denny and
