Travel by train (steam hauled on certain days) along the
"Fish Line" from Fort William to Mallaig and the
scenery will take your breath away...
... beautiful Loch Eil, the wonderful curved viaduct on
which you pass around the Glenfinnan monument at the
head of Loch Shiel, the sea views around Arisaig and the
white sands of Morar...
.. to the old fishing port of Mallaig where ferries can
take you to the Outer Hebrides or just across the water
to Skye.
