A warm welcome awaits you at the Black Bull Hotel, which is a three star graded Hotel. We are located one and a half miles from the M74. The Black Bull's main building dates back to the 16th century. Much has happened here, in the three years 1683 - 1685, it was used as the headquarters for Graham of Claverhouse and his Dragoons. The hotel was also frequented by the Scottish Bard, Robert Burns, circa 1790. We serve Bar Lunches and Evening Meals daily and we have a great range of cask ales in both our Lounge Bar and Railway Bar. We also have 12 fully furnished en-suite bedrooms and a family suite.
