Midmar stillwater
fishery consists of 11 acres of excellent
quality water with three spring-fed lochs
stocked with hard fighting rainbow, brown and
blue trout.
The insect life is abundant and the tiniest of
flies can often prove useful here.
The fishery lies just 15 miles west of Aberdeen
in a tranquil, unspoilt location and is
surrounded by rolling hills and pine forest.
Nestling in 87 acres of gently sloping farmland.
New purpose built wooden clad hut with snacks
available and a wood burning stove, full access
for disabled persons.
Established since 1994
consisting of 6 acres of fly lochs and also
separate bait lochs with Rainbows, Wild Brown
trout, Blue rainbow and brook Trout. Minimum
stocking size of 2lbs up to double figures
ensures good sport for anglers.
Set in the Spey Valley with scenic and peaceful
surroundings it is appealing for anglers of all
ages, male
and female, and also disabled.
Tackle shop onsite with
free tea and coffee, sausage
rolls, and pies as well as other snacks. Clean
toilet facilities for male and female in anglers
separate hut where you can relax. Plenty free
car parking space and open all year round. Rod
hire and tuition by Qualified instructor
available.
