With a Viking heritage and a
rich maritime past, Crosby lies on the Irish Sea
and its finest building is the Carnegie Library
which was built with money donated by the famous
Scottish-born American steel mogul Andrew
Carnegie.
The town boasts several miles of wide-open beaches
as well as a marina and a number of parks.
