Clitheroe
situated in the heart of the Ribble
Valley is the home of Clitheroe Golf Club
having a long history the course has been
on its present site since 1932.
The course is a challenge to all levels
with a premium on straight driving
without being too demanding physically
with 18 holes 6530 yards S.S.S. 71.
With its Parkland Setting and spectacular views -
Longridge fells and Waddington providing the
backdrop to Stoneyhurst College and Mitton Church.
Clitheroe is a course of considerable prestige and
regarded as one of the top 10 in Lancashire it is
now a North West regional qualifying venue for the
Open Championship from 2010.
Golfers of all ages and abilities are most welcome
at Clitheroe Golf Club and our members look

An excellent course
offering challenges to both beginners and
experienced alike. This course offers a good
range of hole types, long and short, up and down
and side to side.

Fishwick Hall Golf Club
is located off the M6, Junction 31 on the banks
of the River Ribble. From Junction 31 head
towards Preston (the golf course is visible on
the left over the river). At the top of the hill
turn left into Glenluce Drive and at the end of
the drive the Club House is on the left.
The club welcomes all
visitors wishing to play with a current handicap
(handicap certificates may be requested).

Ingol Golf Course was
established in 1981 and opened by the late
champion golfer Henry Cotton. The Course is a
Championship designed, 18 hole par 72 course of
6,294 yards in length situated in 250 acres of
parkland just 5 minutes from the M6 junction 32
and only 15 minutes drive from Blackpool.
The course offers an
interesting layout and incorporates practice
facilities for your pre game warm up. Its
tree-lined fairways and choice of tees provide a
stimulating yet fair challenge for golfers of
all standards.
Dean Wood Golf Club set
in Lancashire parkland is a superb and rewarding
challenge for golfers of all standards as well
as a thriving membership the club also holds
several open competitions each year which has
visitors coming back time and again with 18
holes 6137 yards S.S.S. 70.
Located between the
villages of Upholland and Orrell (on the
outskirts of Wigan) Dean Wood is a picturesque
and welcoming club offering golfers the chance
to sample one of the jewels of Lancashire's
world-famous golfing pedigree.
