3 Lakes - 2 Trout & 2 Coarse. Cafe and
amenities. Excellent trout and huge pike. Open
all year - 8am till dusk. Great coarse matches
all year. Very friendly atmosphere.
Brookfoot Lake

Brookfoot lake is a large open water with
wonderful surroundings and wildlife. Roach and
rudd of various sizes, perch to 3lbs carp to
6lbs and tench to 2lbs.
Flanshaw Dam

A rectangular, former mill dam, about sixty
yards by forty, and five feet deep. A Club key
is needed to gain access. There is a clubhouse
and toilets, and the banks are level and mainly
paved, making it suitable for disabled anglers.
Float fish for the good stocks of roach, perch,
crucians, bream and carp. A Club key is needed
for access. Fishing from 7am until dusk. No
night fishing. Open all year.
Doe Park Reservoir
Denholme, West Yorkshire
Large reservoir used for angling and sailing not
suitable for disabled as long walks are
necessary and banks are dangerous. Up to 50 foot
deep in places. Bream 4-5lbs, pike 20lbs, tench
6lbs lots of very small roach and perch.

Massive lake used for boating, wind sailing etc.
you are able to drive to your chosen peg and day
tickets are available from the bank. Wading is
definitely advised as it is shallow close in and
a huge cast is required. All species grow big
especially the roach, perch, carp and bream also
some monster pike.
Four Horse Shoe & Wharf
Pond
West Yorkshire
Huddersfield Narrow Canal, set in the old
textile village of Milnsbridge, Huddersfield,
good access & parking. Plenty of coarse fish
with lots of roach and perch, the four horse
shoes holding carp to 10lb and tench to 6lb,
also small head of chub. Wharf pond holding the
same with a handful of trout and some large pike
to double figures.
