and fossilised bones.
Today even most conventional museums including displays
which change but over recent years there has been a
growth in industrial and "living" museums.

A unique eighteenth century industrial works,
once one of the largest water-powered sites on
the River Sheaf. Attractions include
waterwheels, tilt hammers, a grinding hull and
the only intact crucible steel furnace in the
world. A Grade 1 Listed building and a Scheduled
Ancient Monument.
