LOCKTON
Eight miles from Pickering
and lying next to Levisham, this delightful
village cast in a beautiful location has one
of the National’s Park’s few remaining village
duck ponds. Nearby Levisham Moor was one of
the first places where remains of early
iron-smelting have been found.
