Fishing lakes set under the
Cleveland hills.
Well stocked, with several
carp now over 20lbs with the biggest out in 2009
weighing over 26lbs. Rudd to 2lb and Tench to 3lb.
Open dawn till dusk! Available for matches up to
15 people.
Selley Bridge Farm is a mixed farm with the
livestock including cattle, sheep, chickens and
turkeys. We always have top quality hay and
straw for sale in small bales at competitive
prices. We have a 3 1/2 acre coarse lake that
can be fished on day ticket all year round.

The River Esk
THE RIVER ESK is the principal salmon and sea
trout fishery in Yorkshire, the water around
Whitby supporting the third largest commercial
salmon net fishery in the country. Please
remember that inland waters are not public
property and permission must be obtained from
the owner before fishing. You need a rod licence
to fish in any water and a permit to fish in a
particular water is also required.
A superb venue offering trout and coarse fishing
on five gravel pits. The Wykeham Estate is a
large rural estate situated in unspoiled
countryside on the southern ridge of the North
Yorkshire Moors and at the eastern end of the
vale of Pickering. The fishery boasts one superb
and well established trout waters each stocked
regularly with rainbow and brown trout to
provide consistent sport throughout the season.
Three other lakes provide a variety of coarse
fishing for General, Carp, Match, and Specimen
Pike. The objective has been to create a trout
and coarse fishery in the North East of England
that offers sporting facilities and an
atmosphere second to none. Already the
established hard of regular anglers bears
testament to the exceptional quality of the
venue and it's value for money. A full range of
ticket options, including day, part day,
sporting and season tickets are available. Club
or group bookings as well as tuition can be
arranged upon request. Competitions and matches
can also be organised. A pine lodge overlooking
the Trout Water offers comfortable shelter and
hot drinks, WC's and a chance to catch up on the
latest fishery results and news.

Situated in North Yorkshire, Stonebridge "Big
Trout" Lakes have been designed with the fly
fisherman's requirements as a priority. Natural
spring fed lakes are stocked with hardfighting
Rainbow Trout which are also reared in the North
Yorkshire Dales. Mature trees surround the lakes
giving an abundance of natural fly life. The
fishery platforms are on the level giving lake
access to disabled anglers.
