The Crown Coaching Inn dates from the 16th
century and has been
tastefully modernised without losing its
wonderful Old World charm.
There are
twelve bedrooms in the main house with a
further 6 bedrooms located in the
converted barn and stables, (4 ground
floor bedrooms - 2 with walk in showers
and 2 located on the first floor).
All bedrooms are en-suite with colour televisions,
clock radios, and tea/coffee facilities. The barn
has four comfortable en-suite bedrooms perfect to
book for the family or friends! Single rooms are
available at no extra cost.
Car parking is available at the front of the hotel
with a private car park at the rear. The two Bars
serve traditional ale and snacks with traditional
country cooking available in the Jacobean Dining
Room. Fresh local produce is used whenever
possible and the hotel bakes its own bread. Local attractions include
the beautiful North York Moors, Castle Howard, Rievaulx Abbey and Nunnington Hall.

It is renowned throughout the area for
its great food and fine selection of

You can dine in the modern, glass roofed atrium or
in the Feversham Lounge where children are welcome
or more informally in the Pickwick Bar seated
around a roaring log fire. The 19 bedroom hotel
has some rooms with four poster beds and all rooms
are en-suite with colour television, tea and
coffee making facilities. Dogs more than welcome.
There is car parking to the rear of the hotel.

ideal centre for an exploration of the Yorkshire
Moors and Dales, including Herriot country and
within an hours drive is the city of York and the
Yorkshire coast.
