Situated at the
mouth of the
River Coquet, an

outstanding

life in Roman
times and was
developed as a
coal port in the
eighteenth
century. Now the
harbour is home
to traditional
fishing vessels
and a modern
marina. From the
harbour you can
see the daily
catches of fish
being unloaded

of Warkworth
Castle on the
