Pipes cottages are situated in the moorland
village of Goathland, which is 7 miles from
Whitby.
There are two properties dating back to the
1600's, the largest being a beautifully restored
and tastefully refurbished Grade 2 Listed period
house and the other is a luxurious stone built
cottage.

comprehensively equipped with the period
house having it's own swimming pool.
A non smoking policy applies. Goathland is a
very attractive moorland village which
offers an excellent array of quality shops
and restaurants and has it's own railway
station which is part of the North York
Moors Railway. |
It is also the location for the long-running TV
series Heartbeat and some of the filming of the
Harry Potter movies took place here. For peace
and tranquility this is the place for you, Short

sleeps 16 in two dormitories. There is a fully
fitted kitchen, dining room, lounge with sold
fuel stove. Shower rooms / WC cubicles / drying

Goathland with its free roaming sheep is often
better known as 'Aidensfield' in the TV series
'Heartbeat'. There are pubs, tea rooms and
countless footpaths across the moors for walkers
of every calibre. The village also has its own
railway station on the North Yorkshire Moors
Railway line.

This is one of the
most beautiful cottages in the North Yorkshire
Moors.
It is over 180 years old and is an integral part
of the village and the local history.
It is available as Self Catering or B&B
accommodation.
Rose Cottage is a Grade II listed building with
stone walls and beams throughout.

There are two wood burning fires, one in the
lounge and one in the breakfast room. It has its
own large enclosed cottage style garden with a
barbecue and patio area and it is situated in
the centre of the village. All the double rooms
have televisions. The master room has an
en-suite shower and bathroom. The second double
room has an en-suite shower room. The final
double room has an en suite Victorian bathroom
with stand-alone bath and shower facilities.
Towels and bed linen are all provided Coal and
wood for the fires is provided for you. In the
Lounge there is a Television, VCR and DVD
Player. A selection of DVD's and CD's are
available for you. The Kitchen is fully equipped
with every convenience to make you feel at home.
