A village on the Wirral
peninsula, this is a quiet, traditional seaside
spot that lies close to the vast sand-dunes of
Leasowe and 16th century Leasowe Castle, which
possesses superb views of the Meols sands on the
Dee estuary.
Leasowe Lighthouse was in use until the early 20th
century but is now a base for Wirral’s park
rangers.
