This 17th Century city centre hotel is an owner managed, stylish and modern interpretation of a traditional coaching inn. Officially 4 stars, the hotel comprises of fifteen contemporary en-suite rooms with luxury fittings. Please note, smoking is not allowed in any of the bedrooms and all are en-suite with shower or shower plus bath.

Situated below the hotel is an award winning bar with eight cask ales, a vast selection of malt whiskies and over twenty wines all available by the glass. The hotel rooms have been refurbished to the highest standards, all offer designer furnishings, flat screen televisions and bespoke Italian bathrooms. There is a cot available at no extra charge and can be included in all the bedrooms apart from the smaller standard rooms. This pub is part of C2 Original Inns which also owns the newly opened Duke of Edinburgh Hotel (Barrow-in-Furness) and is the proud joint owner of Lancaster Brewery.

The hotel has fifteen-suite rooms including singles, doubles, luxury rooms and suites. In June 2006 the hotel installed secondary glazing to all front facing rooms to ensure a peaceful night's sleep.

The Mill Inn has recently undergone a major refurbishment. It dates back to the 16th century when it was a cloth mill. It is built by the side of a lock on the Lancaster Canal and is close to the charming fishing village of Glasson Dock. It is also only 10 mins drive from the historic city of Lancaster and is ideal for friends and family members visiting students at Lancaster University and St. Martins College.

The Inn has 15 en-suite bedrooms each with their unique decor reflecting the style and character of the original mill. Each room is comfortably furnished with remote control television, hairdryers, tea and coffee making facilities, sky television, video on demand and broadband access. Within the grounds there is an outdoor play area and there is lift access to all floors.

The restaurant overlooks the canal and the new a la carte menu has a balance between fine cuisine and traditional favourites.
