The Venture Centre, the Island's Premier Outdoor
Activity Centre was founded in 1981 and has been
run since then by the Read Family. All beginners
watersports sessions, Kayaking Courses are
taught in the safety of our shallow 12.5 acre
lake situated in Ramsey town 1.5 miles north of
the Centre.

Dive or fish in the pristine waters of the Isle
of Man. Charters are available for up to 12
people, but the ideal number for diving is 10
and for angling is 8. Various trips are
available, including full day and half-day
excursions.

Calf of Man, Pleasure

Cruises to see seals and seabirds etc. Landing
on Calf for sightseeing, picnics and bird

public toilets on Calf Island. Basking sharks
often observed late June onwards. Daily weather

licensed for 12 passengers. Wreck and reef
