Wizards Thatch is a self contained luxurious suite filled with sumptuous leather furniture, antique prints, and each room has its own indulgent character. This five star suite, is ideal for anyone visiting this Cheshire celebrity hotspot which is less than ten minutes from Manchester Airport. The master bedroom with its heavy oak beamed ceiling, and its small paned timber windows create that Tudor atmosphere. Available for your pleasure there is an LCD TV, DVD and a CD player. Adjacent is an en-suite bathroom, with luxurious bathrobes, towels, complimentary slippers, hairdryer & a fine selection of toiletries.

Downstairs the large Period lounge, with its low beamed timber ceiling, is decorated in rich dark Arabian red with luxurious leather sofas, LCD TV, CD player, and dimmable lighting to suit the mood. Adjacent is the Study with Broadband facilities. Bunches of fresh flowers decorate the suite.

Outside there is a seating area by the pond complete with candelabra which guests can light to complete that romantic setting. The County Hotel is located less then a mile from the famous Alderley Edge Village, with it's high class wine bars, restaurants and boutiques. The County Hotel is a calming escape from the world outside. Our 13 comfortable en-suite double, twin or family rooms are are fitted and furnished to ensure your relaxation and comfort. All rooms are fully equipped with bath/shower, hairdryer, television and tea/coffee making facilities. 

We are proud of our reputation for serving good quality, value for money food, all day. Our menu offers a varied choice along with a full childrens menu. We serve a good selection of draught beers, bitters and spirits. We have a full wine list which can be enjoyed by the bottle or by the glass. A range of soft drinks and beverages are also available.

We have a Wacky Warehouse housed at the rear of the building with it's own private entrance, for children aged 0 and 8. Tot time is run throughout term time from 9.30am until 3pm with supervised activities 10.30 am until 12.00 noon (Please note height restrictions and entry fees apply). The County hotel is proud to be a non smoking establishment, with all our bedrooms being non-smoking.
