The famous Pottery towns are only 8 miles away with visitor centres factory shopping and Waterworld swimming leisure centre. Within 15 miles are Quarry Bank Mill Tatton Park Biddulph Grange Stapeley Water Gardens and the exciting Jodrell Bank Science Centre. The Alton Towers theme park with its array of 'white knuckle' rides is 20 miles. There is a small marina shop on the adjacent boatyard (open in season) and a village shop can be found ¾ mile away.
