The Introductory Flight: This may well be the
first time you have flown in a light aircraft,
therefore it is the aim of the instructor (who
is a professional commercial pilot) to ensure
that the flight progresses in a relaxed and
enjoyable manner. You may have experienced
flying as a passenger on a holiday jet, but now
you will take the controls personally, so
prepare for the thrill and experience of a
lifetime. When it is time for you to return to
the aerodrome you will fly the aeroplane back
and your instructor will accompany you on the
controls for the landing. This is how your first
flight will progress. It could open up a whole
new pastime or even a new career.
