Scrabo Tower - one of Ireland's best known landmarks.



Overlooking Strangford Lough and the whole of North Down, the Tower provides visitors with some of the finest views in the country.

 

 
There is also an exhibition detailing the history of the building, information on the surrounding countryside as well as a 12 minute audio-visual show. The paths through Killynether Wood and around the disused sandstone quarries all offer the opportunity for quiet countryside enjoyment.
 

Opening Times - From Easter to end September. 10.30am - 6.00pm, Saturday to Thursday. The Tower is closed each Friday. Admission Free

Welcome to the Ark farm where our main aim is the preservation of rare and endangered species of domestic animals.



Set in forty acres of unspoiled countryside it is home to approximately two hundred animals of all kinds, including Cattle, Sheep, Pigs, Poultry, Goats, Donkeys, Llamas, Alpacas, Ponies, all so tame and friendly.

 


We also have lots of cute and cuddly rabbits, chicks, guinea pigs, and pet lambs, kid goats, not forgetting the ponies to ride. Get up close and personal and enjoy interaction with the animals, supervised by our friendly helpful staff. The Ark Farm is unique, being the only one of it's kind specialising in animals no longer seen in Northern Irelands fields and the only farm staying open all year round.
