The park's atmosphere
makes it a place to dream and settle into the
slow pace of life the countryside has to offer.
Delamont Country Park has its very own Thomas
the Tank engine and carriages. At 1 Kilometre
long this colourful railway delights old and
young alike as it chugs around the outskirts of
the meadow and sounds it's horn as it passes
through the tunnel.
We also organise Boat
trips around Strangford Lough - an ideal
opportunity to sit back, relax and enjoy the
spectacular scenery of this lovely. whilst here
also marvel at the wonder of the Strangford
Stone, a 10 metres high megalith, erected using
the muscle power of 1000 young people - not an
easy task when you consider that it weighs 25
tonnes! Quarried from Mourne granite, Strangford
Stone is a fitting monument to mark the
millennium.

When the first hand-built tourers / static's
arrived many visitors parked them on pitches for
the duration of the summer. Many changes have
taken place in the touring and static holiday home
industry and even on our family park at Murlough
Cottage since then. But one thing remains totally
the same, and that is the warm and friendly
welcome you’ll receive when you stay at our
caravan park. It's idyllic location in this area
of outstanding natural beauty makes it an ideal
central point to explore many of the local
attractions such as:- golf, walking, fishing,
horse riding, sailing, eating out to name but a
few.
Our facilities are second to none including a
laundry room. recreation room, pool tables, video
machines and a childrens play park. Pitches: 25
spaces for touring/ motor caravans. No charge for
hook-up or awning. All pitches are on hard level
standing. Awning sites have gravel to the side
each pitch has it's own water, electric and waste
disposal point, voltage on each pitch is 10amps
the log cabin toilet block house the ladies and
gents washroom and showers.
