Carrageenan is just 200
yards from the A8 Larne to Belfast road in a
scenic rural situation. Set in a pleasant garden
of over an acre. It overlooks Shane's Hill which
is named after one of the chiefs of the Ulster
clan of the O' Neills. It makes for an ideal base
to explore the Glens of Antrim and the Antrim
Coast Road, with its magnificent scenic views.
It is just 6 miles from the ferry port of Larne
with its many daily crossings to and from
Scotland.
Belfast is 15 miles away
with all the amenities one would expect from a
modern cosmopolitan city. The en-suite
accommodation consists of one twin bedded room
and one with a double and single bed. A cot can
be provided in the double room if required. Both
rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and
overlook a scenic garden with views of Shane's
Hill and the surrounding countryside. The cost
includes a full cooked breakfast of your choice.
