The course is situated 1 1/2 miles north east of York city centre on the A1036. A parkland course of 11 holes with easy walking, it is well known in the area for the quality of the greens. The course measuring 6105 yards has a par 69 and SSS 69. Although not a long course, it rewards accuracy and wayward shots can make good scoring difficult.
