CragRats Café Bar, located in Holmfirth, is open six days a week – 11.00am-11.00pm Tuesday to Saturday and 11.00am-10.30pm on Sundays. The atmosphere is informal and relaxed and it is a great place to get a bite to eat at any time during the day. There's an extensive selection of beverages and the menu features a selection of delicious light snacks, tapas and sandwiches.

Once a Victorian street, the Viaduct Theatre lies beneath one of the mills at Dean Clough. Music, installation, and theatre events take place here throughout the year and the theatre is renowned as the venue chosen by Northern Boradsides to premiere its key works. Recent examples include Samson Agonistes (with sets by Sir Anthony Caro), Ted Hughes' version of Alcestis, and a celebrated series of Shakespeare's works in "the northern voice".
