Rough Hey Wood Camp site provides approx. 50
pitches for campers and 5 pitches for Motorhomes
only (access unsuitable for towing caravans).
The camping site is a 2.5 acre level flat field
with facilities including toilets, showers and
washing up sink. Electric hook ups and Portaloo
emptying point. The site is approximately 1000
acres of woodland with a small river at one side
just down an embankment. On the other side is a
disused railway which is now the Calderdale Way.
Some old raised barbeques are provided. Dogs are
allowed if they are "quiet and friendly" Open
Easter to end September.
