from an experienced rider simply hiring a horse for the
odd hour to residential riding courses for absolute
beginners.
This section is intended to include Riding
Schools and Riding Centres, Residential Riding Holidays,
Riding stables, Pony Trekking, etc.

Whether you are an
experienced rider or a beginner, we have horses
and ponies to suit all ages and abilities. Also,
if you've never ridden before then you couldn't
choose a better place to have a go at trail
riding & trekking!
The trekking centre is
based on a working farm in the village of Boltby
itself. From Boltby, which is situated on the
edge of the North York Moors National Park, we
are fortunate to be able to access a wide
variety of excellent bridleways, forestry, hills
and moorland, affording stunning scenery and
fantastic riding.
Situated on the Gateway to the North Yorkshire
Moors. A short drive from York and Scarborough
and their numerous attractions. Ample local
accommodation available from self-catering
country cottages to AA rated Hotels. We have a
wide range of well schooled horses and ponies to
ride for all ages and standards. All year round
with an indoor school. A family run business,
combining professionalism and a relaxed friendly
atmosphere.
Quality one-to-one or small groups only, no
large trekking parties. Fabulous riding on North
York Moors on well schooled horses. On site
training takes place in scenic outdoor arenas
amid fabulous views across a beautiful secluded
valley in the National Parks' "Heartbeat"
country.

appointment only.
We cater for everyone, from children as young as
four years old to adults, providing excellent
riding tuition for all our clients, from
beginners to advanced riders. We are also a
competition centre and offer first class livery
services.
