The Unicorn Hotel is set in the Market Place, the very heart of Ripon. This former coaching house and posting inn guarantees you a warm and friendly welcome.   The hotel has thirty three spacious en-suite bedrooms with colour televisions, telephones, and bedside radios.

 
The Brigantes Restaurant offers a wide selection of food each evening and a selection of dishes are also available in the bar. A separate lunchtime menu is served usually in the bar only, but is also available in the restaurant throughout the summer months and at any time to pre-bookings. Ripon is a beautiful market town that was founded over 1300 years ago, and is famous as an old Cathedral City where monasteries have stood since the 17th Century. The old city of is filled with shops, cafes, restaurants, and pubs, and also boasts many historical buildings and museums, including Ripon Cathedral, the Wakeman’s House, Studley Royal, Fountains Abbey and Ripon Spa Gardens where a Victorian bandstand is set.

Major refurbishments where completed in 2003, transforming this historic building into a contemporary fifty seat restaurant with eleven individually designed bedrooms and well equipped conference and banqueting facilities. Dating back to 1625 and located across from Ripon's majestic cathedral, The Old Deanery is steeped in history.

The interior of The Old Deanery has been completely revamped, accommodating a stylish new restaurant on the ground floor, serving, Breakfast, Morning Coffee, Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Dinner. Our Award winning Chefs offer an eclectic range of delights, from speciality fish to locally inspired creations, and an extensive collection of cellar wines are available to complement your meal. Dinner is served every evening except Sunday.

Ascending the 17th century oak staircase to the bedrooms, each of the eleven bedrooms have individual character, and come equipped with modern conveniences including broadband internet access points and digital television. All rooms are en-suite with splendid garden or Cathedral views.

Kings Head

The King's Head, Masham, is a fine Georgian building dating back to the 18th Century, situated in the Market Square of the picturesque town of Masham. From the outset The King's Head was always more than an Inn. In its time it has been combined with a Posting House and surprisingly, an Excise Office.

It now offers a warm welcome with an excellent menu range and serves traditional Theakston's and Black Sheep cask ales and an extensive wine list making it a popular choice for both locals and visitors to the town. It has recently undergone a sympathetic refurbishment of the bar, restaurant and the 23 letting bedrooms and can accommodate 40 delegates in the meeting room.

The town always leaves visitors with a sense of calm and is a perfect place to relax, this could have a little to do with the two brewery's located in the town, which brew Theakson's and Black Sheep beer, both are well worth a visit.

Swinton Park Country House Hotel

Swinton Park is the ancestral home of the Cunliffe-Lister family and is set in 200 acres of parkland, lakes and gardens. The castle is surrounded by the family estate in which guests have access to rivers, reservoirs, moorland, dales and beautiful countryside bordering the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

The bedrooms, on first and second floors, are individually designed and are equipped with two direct dial telephones, a modem point, CD player, satellite TV, trouser press, drinks tray and coffee/tea facilities. Four of the thirty bedrooms are suites and the turret room is on three floors with a (steep!) staircase between. A lift serves both first and second floors. Four of the en-suite bathrooms are equipped for disabled use.

The dining room's exquisite menu consists of only the finest ingredients, with a selection of local produce, meat and game from the four acre walled garden and surrounding family estate. The restaurant has achieved 3AA rosette award status and offers a traditional as well as a fantastic menu.

Winton Park Spa is in a conservatory bathed in warm natural light with lush tropical vegetation. The Jacuzzi pool is set in its own deck, with the relaxation zone at ground level and the sauna and shower recessed into the outer wall.
