Streonshalh provides bed and breakfast accommodation in a Victorian semi-detached house built in 1893 and which retains many original features (Strenshalh is the old Viking name for Whitby). The accommodation is clean, quiet and comfortable. Hikers are welcome and there are packed lunches available on request. The B&B is open all year round. There is a Strictly non smoking policy.

The en-suite rooms include colour TV, hairdryer and hospitality trays. Full English breakfast is included as are Vegetarian and Continental breakfast options. Located 5 miles south of Whitby where the Coast to Coast walk finishes in Robin Hoods Bay village. 'Heartbeat' country is a short drive from the village, as are other attractions such as the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway.
