This
picturesque village, often referred to as the
prettiest canal village in the country, stands on
the Grand Union Canal, which later runs through
the haunted, two-mile Blisworth Tunnel. Its
Waterways Museum is appropriately located on the
canal’s towpath and explores the fascinating
history of Britain’s canal system and its
importance to landlocked Northamptonshire as a
transportation network. |
