Target
Skysports is a skydiving operation which
owns and runs a centre at Hibaldstow,
North Lincolnshire.
Our courses include Accelerated Freefall (AFF),
Tandem and Static Line open to the public 7 days a
week. We are the only centre to fly to 15,000ft
and are host to the British National Championships
every year. Learn to skydive with the best.
Tandem – All the fun, no fuss. 20 minutes
instruction is all you need to jump in a dual
harness with a large parachute and an instructor
taking the responsibility.
AFF – An 8 jump course which teaches you to
skydive for yourself - intensive, fast-paced and
addictive.
Static Line – Start the easy way with your
parachute opening automatically. Work your way up
to 15,000ft and 120 mph.
OUR SKYDIVING SCHOOL CAN HELP YOU TANDEM
SKYDIVE, PARACHUTE JUMP OR EVEN BECOME A
QUALIFIED SKYDIVER IN LESS THAN 1 WEEK.
Whatever your requirements "Fall From The Sky"
can supply them for the novice who either wishes
to experience the full thrill of Tandem Freefall
skydive at 120 mph as a one off experience or
wishes to learn to be an experienced skydiver.
Whichever it is our skydiving school has the
highest standards of safety and professionalism
and operate in accordance with the British
Parachute Association operations manual. Our
instructors have over 5000 jumps and up to 19
years experience.
Please see our website for full details of the
courses and packages we have to offer.
There are three methods to make your first
parachute jump, or skydive: Static Line (RAPS): This is the
traditional method of making a first skydive,
and can be continued for those that would like
to take up skydiving as a hobby. Nowadays
the more modern RAM air parachute is used,
rather than the old type of round canopy. Tandem: Arguably the best method for
someone who wants to try a skydive, or do a jump
for charity. Strapped to an instructor you are
there for the ride, experiencing freefall and
then helping steer the canopy to the ground. Accelerated FreeFall (AFF): For people
who want to take up skydiving, this course is
probably the best way to go about it. In just a
few jumps you could be qualified to jump on your
own, that's why it's accelerated. In winter the
courses can be run abroad.
