Here at Monarch Farm we aim to teach riding with
the emphasis on a good balanced seat, feel and
anticipation for the horse. All our horses and
ponies are regularly schooled by the staff in
order to keep them from getting bored. We are
approved by the Association of British Riding
Schools, and licensed by Huntingdonshire
District Council. All our staff hold ABRS and
BHS qualifications. We believe that our riders
should be safe both in the ménage as well as out
in fields and on hacks. In the summer we run
evening pub rides and Sunday hacks. We have two
outdoor arenas with all weather dressing, which
means that riding can take place in just about
all weather conditions. If in doubt please do
not assume riding is cancelled, check with the
stables. A recent addition to our main arena is
a small viewing shelter that helps to protect
parents from the elements when they are watching
their children ride.
