For fishermen who are interested in quietly sitting on the bank of a small pool, standing waist high in waders in a swift-flowing river, or fighting to land a large fish out at sea, in Cambridgeshire area, this page is intended to help you source the information you need.

3 coarse fishing lakes containing carp, tench, barbel, chub, bream, roach, perch and gudgeon.

Snake lake is a purpose built 28 peg 13m wide match lake heavily stocked with carp.

Trevs lake is a 36peg big oval lake with a large island well stocked with carp to double figure weights also lots of tench, barbel, bream and chub.

 

Tosh's lake is a 12 peg lake stocked with large carp and bream. Trevs and Tosh's lake are primarily for pleasure angling but can be booked for matches. Day tickets are available on site. The site has full flushing W.C. and a large secure car park.

These rivers are mostly dead straight with hardly any flow, they contain pike to 27lbs, some zander, lots of roach, perch, rudd & the odd carp, margin fishing is good with red-worm or sweetcorn. Normal water rules apply (No live baiting or bloodworm, 2 rods only, no litter). Day tickets on bank. Night fishing is allowed.


New Lake

Barway, near Ely, Cambridgeshire

5 acre lake with two islands, and landscaped surround. Members log hut, 2 toilets secure parking. Catfish to over 47lbs Carp to around 20lbs, specimen fish in nearly all species. This water is suitable for disabled anglers.

Open all year. Two gravel pit lakes of 16 and 18 acres set in Farmland. Clear water. Big fish lake (4lb-27lbs) can only be fished on sporting ticket. Rainbow, Brown, Golden, Blue, Triploid and Pike. Stocked weekly with fish averaging 4lbs. Fish records: 27lb Rainbow, 12lb blue, 8lb Brown, 9lb golden.
