The Old School Mews, formally the
Victorian School House, has been cleverly
transformed to provide luxurious yet cosy
accommodation in Lowdham Village.
Whilst here why not visit Sherwood Forest
the home of the legendary Robin Hood. We
are near to Southwell with its racecourse
and the excellent Minster. |

many restaurants, theatres and excellent shopping.
The three guest rooms all have great charm with
sloping ceilings and exposed beams. All rooms
feature a television, hairdryer, tea and coffee
making facilities with some home made biscuits.
Other little touches include bathrobes, bathroom
toiletries and crisp white linen sheets provided
to make your stay memorable. Breakfast, which is
included, can either be a cooked English breakfast
with locally sourced ingredients or a Continental.
Breakfast is served either in the large sunny
farmhouse kitchen or outside on the courtyard
patio, weather permitting. There is a wide choice
of pubs and restaurants in the area, an excellent
bus and train service. Lowdham is 6 miles from
Nottingham and 5 miles from Newark.
